Me

I'm fascinated by nature, and this drives me to find new ways of sharing that passion.
My aim is to try and communicate the brilliance, beauty, and fragility of the natural world though my photography, and to spread a wonder of wildlife with the wider world.

From a background in art & design, I'm now working in the modern medium of digital photography and post-processing. I use this to create original eye-catching photos for fine-art prints and commercial natural history stock libraries.
I'm not alone in this highly competitive field so I strive for something distinctive, to stand apart from the mainstream. I use understanding and patience to achieve insightful wildlife portraits, and creativity to produce unique fine art nature photography in my own style.

My favourite British wildlife subjects are the majestic red deer, which have become my local speciality.

My photography typically spans three genres:

• My Wildlife Photography style is close-up, high-contrast, and eye-catching, giving the viewer a window on the character of the subject.
• I use Fine Art Nature to achieve a more abstract or creative representation of nature. 
• I take Landscapes, showing off the natural features of Britain and around the world.

I also have a large back-catalogue of natural history, documentary, & behaviour-based wildlife photography, which I keep on my Flickr photostream, providing a rich stock library.
