Gannet - Hovering

A gannet hovering in the coastal breeze, and it lowers itself down to the nest.

I first saw a gannet the year previous to these photos. And I decided shortly after that, that I would love to get some gannet photos. I think they're incredible looking birds. Huge up-close, and graceful in flight.
