I'm so pleased to be associated with this book, as Iolo Williams is one of my favourite natural history presenters. He's a warm, positive, and knowledgeable naturalist, and this is a book of top nature sites to enjoy and inspire others to enjoy in the UK, which is something I wholeheartedly support. I took the photo on Skomer Island, on the Welsh West coast, which not only features in the book but is also my top location in the UK for a wildlife experience. The book is available from Seren Books, and all good tax-paying book shops. |

I wrote a short piece for Outdoor Photography magazine, accompanied by a photo of the local black swan on an icy frozen lake. This was published in their January 2019 issue (#239), released on 12th December 2018. I'm delighted to contribute to Outdoor Photography. As a subscriber myself, I see it as the best quality magazine for landscape and nature photography. The standard of imagery is always high, and the writing is insightful and informative, so it was a pleasure to be invited to contribute. The article is about being prepared, and thinking ahead, in order to be ready to capture the photos you want to take. You can find the printed magazine in newsagents, and you can subscribe to either the print or digital versions. |

The single is the first from his new album 'Branches of Sun', and was debuted by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6 Music, Jan 14th 2018. The British Wildlife Centre is a great place to visit, and it's very popular with photographers, both new and experienced, due to the well thought-out enclosures, and great selection of British species. For that reason, the photography competition is always a high standard, and I'm totally shocked to win. The competition was judged by top professional wildlife photographer Danny Green.
