FINE ART NATURE

There's nothing like spending time in nature and I'm pleased to be able to bring that feeling into peoples lives through my photography. I enjoy the experience of spending time with large sentient animals & wild creatures, and the challenge of capturing a photograph which portrays the character and connection they convey.

 

Rather than documenting nature, my fine art nature portraits are intended first-and-foremost for wall art prints, which is the main focus of my photography. I try to create a dramatic portrait, with an emotion connection between subject and viewer, bridging the gap between animal and human.

 

My nature photography takes patience and planning to execute, and time in post-processing to achieve the look I want. I've developed a visual style of my own, and I push in-camera techniques, as well as embracing the digital editing process.
