To achieve optimum quality my prints are fulfilled by a personally-selected fine art print house. I choose papers & inks that create a stunning end-product with exceptional colour accuracy and longevity.
I don’t sell in high volumes, so prints remain original and unique, creating an interesting feature for the room.
Below is a description of the print formats available to order through the site. If you have any requests for a custom size or format, just get in touch.
Giclée Fine Art Print3:2 image printed on 20" paper. Giclée printing is the medium of choice for art galleries and museums throughout the world. This is the finest print standard available, yielding the greatest quality and depth of colour.
This high quality printing technique is achieved with a combination of textured Fine Art graded paper and of state-of-the-art print-heads passing 8 times at 1440 dpi, with a 10-colour ink system.
I recommend accompanying a fine art print with a plain white mount, and a modern black or white frame, to create a classic, stylish wall feature.
Using quality papers ensures an outstanding print and a distinctive end-product.
The papers below are my preferred choice, and generally most appropriate for the style of photos I take. On occasion, I choose alternative papers, depending on the print in question. If you have a specific preference or requirement just let me know, and I’ll be happy to oblige. Otherwise, I will select what I consider the most effective paper for the photo.
Canvas PrintA canvas wrap, ready to hang as contemporary wall art. A bold, contemporary way to display statement images as larger wall-art.
Printed on bright white 400gsm cotton, hand-stretched on a 4cm-deep heavy-duty pine frame. A textured surface, with sharp-detailed prints, and a fade-free lifespan of over 100 years.
Canvas prints are delivered fully assembled and ready to hang.
Ideal for modern homes or commercial environments where a larger print is preferred, without the requirement for a traditional framed image.
Fine Art Framed PrintA ready-framed print. A mounted and framed print is a classic look, and my preferred display for most photographic wall art.
My ready-framed prints use the same beautiful Hahnemühle fine art papers described above. Frames are hand-constructed by Fine Art Guild-commended framers, from sustainably-sourced wood, and finished in black. Prints are protected with a sealed backing and crystal-clear acrylic glazing; less tinted, heavy, and brittle than glass.
Framed prints are delivered fully assembled and ready to hang.
Note that the size option for framed prints relates to the size of the frame, so the print is a little smaller due to the width of the frame and the mount. For example, a 30-inch frame would use a roughly 25-inch print.
Ready-framed prints can be an expensive option due to the labour involved, and the quality of the product. If you’d prefer to frame the photo(s) yourself, or source your own framer, you can do that by ordering just the print. This is a lower-cost, and equally popular option. See above for Giclée Print details.
My prints are available in a choice of sizes. Note that some images are available in larger sizes than others. This depends on the size (resolution) of the original file, the camera used, and whether the image has been cropped.
Prints are sized according to the measurement of the paper across it’s longest edge.
For example, for a 30-Inch Print:
I include a white border around the image to aid in framing. You should therefore wait until you receive your prints before buying mounts and frames, as the exact image dimensions will not fill that of the paper.
