Flamingo At Rest
Flamingos can be very obliging to a patient photographer. They can contort into very photogenic poses, and abstract shapes.
This is one of a series I took on the same occasion, showing the bird at rest.
These prints are perfect for those wishing to add some colour to their interior, besides the blues and greens most typical in nature photography. They're a flamboyant subject, for outgoing personalities, though this photo captures the flamingo in a more restful state, bringing some calm to the space, along with the rich colour and graphic lines of the feathers.
